Job Description
Cintas Corporation is seeking a Meeting and Event Planner for the Corporate headquarters located in Mason Ohio. This position oversees all aspects of meeting planning for events held nationwide, ranging from 15- 400 people. Responsibilities include managing RFPS, negotiating contracts, aiding in site selection, securing accommodations, and understanding set up and space requirements for each meeting requested; Providing excellent communication with internal clients to ensure their understanding of contractual obligations; Approving banquet orders, audio/visual contracts, and event diagrams; Maintaining room blocks; Prioritizing changes and keeping detailed event files; Adhering to corporate policies, meeting budgets and contract deadlines; Tracking attendees and developing flight manifests for transportation when needed; Building meeting profiles in online booking tool, Concur; and Reviewing and approving final bill reconciliation.
Skills/Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma/GED
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and intranet/internet
Preferred
- Minimum 3 years of corporate meeting planning.
- Excellent communication skills, working with diverse internal groups and external vendors
- Has superior attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Works well under pressure, anticipates issues, and proposes solutions
- Adapts quickly to changes
- Experience with the online booking tool, Concur
- Familiar with the travel industry and airport city codes
No Travel required unless for local site inspections
