What we need...
The Facilities and Warehouse Technician is responsible for coordinating, organizing and tracking the equipment used within the Field Technician operation. This equipment primarily consists of a case weighing roughly 45lbs designed to carry a laptop, scanner, and other necessary equipment used in the field to scan and retrieve medical charts. Also responsible for assisting with the creation of access badges for Field Technicians and mailing the badges to the Field Technicians along with the equipment cases. This portion of the job makes up roughly 70% of the role, but could vary based on business needs. Additionally, this position is also assists the Facilities Manager with all building maintenance needs for the 3 office locations in Phoenix. The building maintenance portion of the role comprises roughly 30% of the position depending on business needs.
- Effectively trouble shoot any problem related to the equipment
- Effectively and autonomously repair the equipment as needed
- Accurately and promptly track and coordinate the delivery and return of all equipment
- Coordinate with Field Technicians directly via phone or email to arrange the delivery or return of equipment
- Effectively utilize Excel as an equipment tracking tool
- Partner with the Recruiting Team and the Receptionist Team to ensure the access badges are created
- Ensure access badges are mailed to the Field Technicians along with their equipment cases
- Collaborate with various other departments or vendors as needed, including Reception, Recruiting, Security, Building Management, IT, Janitor, Pest Control, Operations leaders, and HR
- Assist the Facilities Manager in handling all building maintenance issues as needed. This includes any matter related to obtaining, repairing, moving, cleaning, or maintaining any type of utilities, office furniture, Security equipment (cameras, badge access readers on the doors), building structures, janitorial, or any other general maintenance matter
- Proactively and regularly walk through all areas of each office building location to examine the work areas and identify any existing or potential building maintenance issue, safety risks, or security risks of any kind in or around the work premises
- Promptly bring all identified building maintenance or other Security, Safety, or other Facilities-related issues to the attention of the Facilities Manager and any other relevant department leader
- Fully assist with and support all building maintenance projects or other issues to ensure they are completed or resolved efficiently, effectively, and safely
- Observe all security and compliance requirements at all times as directed per company policy and other directed practices
- Ensure that all relevant and appropriate safety precautions and procedures are observed at all times as needed based
- Serve as a Facilities point of contact for any Facilities-related matter; gather all pertinent information regarding any Facilities-related issues or concerns; report to Facilities Manager and assist with resolution as needed or directed
- Other duties as assigned
- Basic to moderate experience in building management, equipment maintenance, electrical repairs, use and repair of various tools, assembly, and other common or typical Facilities or other related matters is required
- Reliable personal transportation required
- Mechanical Aptitude highly preferred
- Previous training, experience or strong familiarity with OSHA and other workplace safety measures strongly preferred
- Basic proficiency using PC, Word and Excel
- Basic understanding of shipping and receiving parcels; Some customer service and inventory experience is helpful
- Must be able to lift 50-60lbs without assistance
- Must be organized and reasonably detail oriented; a good self-manager of time management; Reliable and dependable work ethic
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Possess good judgment, patience and diplomacy; team player
- Ability to work both inside or outside as needed (roughly 10% of the time)
- Ability to work some evenings or weekends as needed
- Must be able to work efficiently with potential surrounding distractions of other workers
Other Physical or Mental Requirements include:
- Ability to type at a slow to moderate pace using primarily the fingers
- Ability to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary informatio
- Average visual acuity is necessary to perform inspections, or operate equipment or machinery
- Physical abilities necessary to perform active work, such as walking, standing, climbing, stooping, reaching, bending, etc.
