Service Technician

We are currently looking for a full-time Field Service Technician to join our team. Ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of electrical components, electrical troubleshooting, controls, and operations. Must be mechanically inclined, have electrical experience with AC/DC voltages, able to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems on a regular basis. Ability to read schematics, blueprints, assembly manuals, and computer skills are required. Must have your own hand tools and able to work in inclement weather. Willing to train the right person.

Job Responsibilities

· Troubleshoot, wire-in, diagnose, and repair, center pivots, pumps, motors, and other irrigation equipment.

· Work directly with customers to communicate proper repair and maintenance procedures.

· Work in a team environment with other crews and employees to achieve proper new equipment installs.

· Read schematics, blueprints, assembly manuals, operator manuals, and service bulletins to ensure proper service and installation.

· Complete service reports, work orders, parts, list, and detailed service job descriptions.

· Participate in trainings, company protocol, and employee meetings.

· Help maintain company tools and equipment.

Job Requirement

· Understand electrical circuits, 240/480 vac 3 phase, 24-120 vac single phase, 5-48 vdc, phase converters, transformers, frequency drives, and their control systems.

· Use of voltage meter, amp meter, megohmmeters, and other testing equipment.

· Ability to work outdoors year round.

· Willing to work overtime as needed.

· Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

· Minimum of four years of electrical experience required.

· Must have basic set of hand tools, end wrenches, screw drivers, etc.

· Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

· Must be able to pass a drug screening and comply to company drug and alcohol policy.

Starting Wage based on experience: $32-$38 per hour
