THE ROLE
Inventory Auditor (Covering Wilmington, NC to Myrtle Beach, SC)
Circle K is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inventory Auditor to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory across various locations from Wilmington, NC to Myrtle Beach, SC. This position requires frequent travel to different sites, providing you with a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to experience a range of locations within your region.
What You’ll Do
Excited to embark on a journey with us? Here's a breakdown of the key responsibilities in this role:
- Conduct thorough and accurate inventory audits at multiple store locations from Wilmington, NC to Myrtle Beach, SC.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory management.
- Identify discrepancies and work with store management to resolve issues.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and maintain accurate records.
- Drive to various locations within the designated region, ensuring timely completion of audits.
- Position is targeted to lead projects involving how Operations will utilize our new operating procedures and reporting, in addition to receiving and executing on communication from Store Support Staff.
- Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in a retail environment to the extent functionality can enhance how Operators manage their daily responsibilities.
- Routine discussions to occur with Operational Leaders in support of program development and deployment.
- Assisting BUs with achievement of set-forth KPIs (labor, shrink, etc.) will be at the forefront of daily duties.
- Additional projects will be added and learned on the job through deep immersion with subject matter experts.

- Previous experience in inventory auditing or related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Ability to stand for long periods, bend, reach items on shelves and in coolers and freezers, and lift cases and totes of product.
- Project Management skills. PMP certification preferred.
- Strong Retail Operations Experience, working knowledge of standard retail processes/procedures at store level is an asset.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or 3-5 years of transferable business experience.
- Working knowledge of PDI Enterprise software preferred.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Power BI, and Word).
- Able to lead a large diverse Cross Functional Team on projects spanning across North America.
- Must be able to travel to different locations daily
- Must possess a Driver’s License and the ability to drive to multiple store locations.
- Must possess strong analytical expertise, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Positive team attitude and professional demeanor at all times.
