What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loyalty Communication Senior Strategist position at Circle K?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
The position includes, but is not limited to, the following essential job duties, responsibilities, and requirements:
- Lead the creation and execution of the member communication calendar through close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Loyalty Communication, Loyalty Operations, Member Experience and Loyalty Campaign teams
- Oversee the creation of creative assets for loyalty communications to ensure that it is consistent with our brand standards and designed for channel
- Lead execution/optimization of lifecycle communications as well as ad-hoc communications to ensure execution across all aspects including creative assets, audience segment, journey/campaign and promotion/offer are considered & planned
- Use the dashboards created by the Loyalty Analytics team to derive insights from dashboards; effectively translate analytics into clear insights and actionable recommendations
- Develop a deep understanding of audience segments, including the logic/data attributes used to create the segments
- Create and manage an ongoing calendar of A/B testing to continually optimize lifecycle comms
- Work with loyalty product team to add data and platform capabilities
- Articulate member communication strategy and communicate results to key stakeholders
- Monitor and share industry trends and best practices
- Ad hoc problem solving and day to day tasks as needed to support the needs of the team
- Flexible with working hours to support global ways of working
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field preferred, and/or 3-4 years of experience in email marketing, lifecycle communications, or similar role
- Experience with marketing automation, email, SMS and/or web marketing
- Strong analytical skills, understanding of testing methodologies, ability to draw conclusions from data and take action accordingly
- Strong messaging, content development and writing skills, comfortable with crafting messaging and content to aid in ideation and development of a communication campaign
- Ability to build relationships and work effectively with multiple stakeholders in a cross-functional environment
- Experience in managing complex projects
- Advanced skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & related Microsoft suite products
- Must be able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities as described above.
