The Field Operations Recruiter (Store Recruiter) will “own” the recruiting process for assigned markets/stores within a Region (from 60 to 100 stores) regionally located in the Shreveport/Bossier City and surrounding areas.
This is not a remote position. The ideal candidate will need to be primarily located in Shreveport, as this position requires 50% of travel by car.
The Store Recruiter will use various technologies to improve efficiency, drive candidate flow using a variety of sourcing methods, and screen candidates leveraging assessments, phone and in-person interviews, and/or video-based screening tools. The Store Recruiter will improve ‘time to hire’ by closely monitoring candidate flow and moving candidates through the hiring process as quickly as possible.
The position will require a strong commitment to detail, willingness to question processes and suggest improvements, and superior organization skills to ensure time is managed effectively.
Partnering with Store Managers, Market Managers and Regional Operations Directors to execute the program, earning their respect and demonstrating an ability to perform recruiting functions timely and efficiently to support the Store Manager’s staffing needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Post and manage job requisitions in the applicant tracking system
- Make first contact with candidates within the first 24 to 48 hours of them applying
- Screening candidates using various technological platforms
- Coordinating the scheduling of in-person interviews between candidates, Store Managers and Market Managers. Ability to travel to various stores and interview locations within the region.
- Completing in-person or virtual interviews, hiring store-staff-level positions, and coordinating onboarding scheduling with the Store Manager, as needed
- Drive candidate flow to under-performing job requisitions leveraging various recruiting methods (online and in-person events, job boards, applicant pools, talent leads, etc.)
- Tracking the store staff level openings, the contacting of applicants to fill openings, positions filled and onboarding completion confirmation. Works with the NETP Facilitator, Store Manager and hired candidate to ensure scheduling of onboarding and training.
- The Talent Acquisition landscape is continuously changing and staying informed on and trying new recruiting strategies to generate candidate flow is expected
- Day to day management of Key Performance Indicators including but not limited to time-to-hire, employee retention/turnover rates, fill percentage to open positions and weekly hires onboarded.
Additional Responsibilities
- Written and verbal communication with supervisor and company leadership will ensure that achievements are known, and concerns are addressed
- This position will require frequent updates and continuous change until we are able to find the best process to support our stores
