What are the responsibilities and job description for the Circle Impact Intern position at Circle?
What you’ll be responsible for:
Circle is looking for a passionate intern willing to learn and contribute to the Circle Impact goals of driving USDC utility value through financial inclusion, digital financial literacy and the delivery of traceable, secure, and efficient humanitarian aid. Your work will help us identify new opportunities to not only grow the business but also our global impact. This role will report to the Vice President of Circle Impact.
What you'll work on:
- Creating templates for measuring internal impact initiatives.
- Contributing to developing company-wide ESG T frameworks, objectives, and reporting.
- Assessing efficacy of current impact programs.
- Supporting pitch competitions and Circle events planning/execution.
- Researching and catalog real-world USDC impact use cases.
- Developing catalog of impact partners and beneficiaries.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders on impact analysis and strategy.
- Reviewing news and trends around crypto/stablecoins' role in social impact.
- Supporting digital financial literacy initiatives with academic institutions.

What you’ll bring to Circle:
- Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate level degree in a field related to Impact, Sustainable Development, Policy, Research or related field.
- Agile and adaptable - able to pivot efficiently, adjust on the fly, and tackle new challenges with tenacity and composure.
- Insatiable appetite for learning and willingness to try new things.
- Self-starter who is ready to think outside the box.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort with a remote first work environment.
- Commitment to conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times.
- A deep interest in human-centric technology and an appreciation for the value of well-regulated stablecoins.
- Experience/familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS and GSuite.
