Job Summary:

• General knowledge of manufacturing machinery such as vacuum pumps, air compressors, ovens, HVAC, MUA
• Trouble shoot equipment failure and to help fix problems
• Learn day to day use of equipment and tools
• Follow work orders in a timely manner
• Ability to learn PMs on equipment and document completed tasks on computer programs
• Ability to operate floor scrubber, scissor lift / forklifts with Cirrus training
• Plow & shovel snow
• Maintain complete facility cleanliness and organization

Job Hours are Variable Friday-Monday 8AM-5PM.

Supervisory Responsibility: None

Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

• Perform maintenance work orders and accurately record through daily computer entry
• Work as a cooperative member of the facilities team
• Works to diagnose breakdowns and fix facility and equipment problems
• Uses and follows the lock out tag out procedures
• Optimizes work processes, maintain clean & orderly work environment
• General Facility & Grounds maintenance
• Preforms other duties as assigned by team lead, department supervisor or appropriate designee
• Wear appropriate attire and safety equipment for related job

Education and/or Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• 2 or 4 year degree preferred in related field
• HVAC knowledge a plus but not required

Demonstrated Proficiencies/Skills/Abilities:

Must be able to demonstrate the ability to read, write and speak the English language. Work with general hand tools, ladders, scissor lifts, computer data entry
