Job Summary:
The Applications Analyst works closely with other members of the Information Technology Team and business stakeholders to customize, configure, and support existing applications required to deliver Cirrus Aircraft business capabilities. The Application Analyst is responsible for one or more moderate to high complex software applications, its associated solution infrastructure, and integrations with other applications. This role oversees practices and processes to ensure integrity, safety and availability of all data and applications as part of an information system. This role requires the ability to think systemically, learn new technology and work with evolving requirements and business demands within the context of Cirrus’ information technology roadmap. This position will be part of the Information Technology team.
Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Maintain enterprise application software systems such as Product Lifecycle Management System, Manufacturing Execution System & Enterprise Resource Planning in collaboration with solution partners.
- Configure or enhance application system to meet business stakeholder requests.
- Develop and maintain integrations between enterprise applications as required.
- Participate in the coordination and functional knowledge transfer of capabilities released with new modules, upgrades, fixes, or new installations for business stakeholders.
- Responsible for application support to the user community for system capabilities fulfilling requests of moderate to high complexity.
- Escalate issues, when necessary, with solution partners, integrates with problem management and performs root cause analysis when necessary.
- Update existing documentation where available, develop new documentation as required.
- Learn new systems and cross-train team members as required in support of a Dev/Ops model.
- Participate in or conduct user acceptance testing, including assisting in the development of user guides and reference materials.

- Bachelor’s degree Management Information Systems or relevant field of study
- 1-3 years of work experience in an enterprise application support or development role preferred
- Preference for work experience in a manufacturing/product development/service environment, IT infrastructure/applications development/support delivering IT services to wide variety of business customers.
- Familiar with application development standards, software development lifecycle, and working with Agile principles.
- Experience building and maintaining software solutions including ETL, APIs / web services, databases, development, and other methodologies.
- Familiarity with development tools in a Microsoft technology stack
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with the ability to manage multiple tasks and system support situations.
