What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Receiving Coordinator I position at Cirtec Medical?
JOB SUMMARY
This position is primarily responsible for inventory control, job order material usage reconciliation, job closings, and inventory reconciliation. Will coordinate with purchasing and production to ensure the inventory is accurate and appropriate to meet demands. Will perform duties within the production and inventory control department as required.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review jobs requiring materials via the ERP system,
- Issue materials to assigned jobs physically and in ERP system,
- Return materials from completed jobs physically and in ERP system,
- Perform cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventory as required.
- Communicate any material shortages to appropriate departments as needed.
- Receive incoming materials and prepare outgoing shipments.
- Assist with packing & shipping, clean room kitting and warehouse operations.
- Ensure materials are stocked in the appropriate quantities to support production.
- Maintain and monitor manual or computerized inventory control system for raw materials, tooling, consumables, and finished stock.
- Investigate discrepancies.
- Establish and maintain a safe and healthy working environment in accordance with OSHA requirements.
- Represent the department in a positive and professional manner.
- Reliable, consistent, and punctual attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Complies with company, quality and safety standards, policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent from an accredited institution is required.
- 1 year manufacturing, shipping or material handling experience preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) programs and tools.
- Strong command of the English language (speak, read & write) with good communication skills.
- Ability to interact with internal and external customers in a positive and professional manner.
- Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to obtain forklift certification (as needed by location).

Work is performed in a manufacturing environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.
