What You’ll Do

Are you fascinated by numbers and data driven? An opportunity is now available to join the Help@Cisco Business Operations and Finance Team. We are looking for a highly motivated Data and Financial Analyst who takes the initiative to make changes, support data analysis, and lead data-driven processes for the business and financial transactions for the Help@Cisco organization.

  • Responsible for day-to-day financial transactions, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, invoice approvals, accruals, expense tracking, cross-charges, budget allocation, and balancing our spending for monthly, quarterly, and annual deliverables.
  • Identify new insights on case and cost drivers to ensure our data is optimized and available for critical analytics.
  • Understand internal and external drivers impacting Help@Cisco's performance and work closely with our other Business Ops and Finance staff in making strategic spending decisions.
  • Analyze our financial performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities.
  • Provide continuous improvement input on our financial performance and execution and help drive automation of our reporting processes.
  • Consolidate, summarize, simplify, and streamline our reporting on key business metrics for our business reporting requirements.

In this highly visible role, you will be partnering with Business Ops, Help@Cisco leadership, Finance, IT, and Operations. You will develop productive working relationships with Help@Cisco Finance and Technical Support leadership to drive success.

Who You Are

You are a strong communicator and have great knowledge of data and finance analysis. You can manage data efficiently and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.

Your ability to lead timely reporting, maintain accuracy in data and financial models, and take ownership through execution is critical. Your focus on leadership development consistent with performance drivers and finance cultural mantras is crucial.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Data and Finance analysis, business administration, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of Data and Finance related work experience
  • Data Analytics and Financial Models
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Data-driven storyboarding
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Must be highly motivated; able to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
