Key Responsibilities
Review VIP/VVIP customer requirements, construct bid estimates, and develop detailed work flow plans and production schedules with critical path for aircraft interior completions and modification
projects. Coordinate with the Directors of Planning and Sales, Project Managers, Director of Completions, Engineering, Design Departments to determine feasibility of work scope and task breakout with respect to available resources and capacity. Create customer work package quotations by providing accurate man-hour and materials estimates for requested tasks, taking into consideration the provisions of the customer contract.
Essential Job Functions
Ability to effectively collaborate with multiple departments simultaneously to develop interior completion work packages based on availability of labor, tooling, materials and equipment to ensure customer timelines will be achieved or reduced.
Adept at determining a projects critical path down to the task level and prepare work packages.
Gather data, including by task estimates of labor and materials for aircraft interior projects to create accurate and realistic bid estimates and timelines.
Working knowledge of interior assembly sequencing, common materials and monument variations.
Plan and originate requisitions for required materials for potential projects, coordinating with Engineering, Design, Purchasing and Operations to ensure materials can/will be on hand when required.
Adept at navigating through AMMs, Drawings, AD/SB/SL, IPCs and MPDs. Experience with Boeing and Airbus technical data/refence web portals is desired.
Enter and manage data within the companys Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, including libraries of tasks and materials to be used in current and future bid packages.
Proficient at Microsoft Office such as Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint.
Support senior staff with other tasks as required.
Minimum of 7 years experience in VIP/VVIP aircraft completions and maintenance modification. Experience in Planning, Scheduling, Documentation and/or Project Management related to VVIP. Airbus and/or widebody Boeing aircraft experience is a plus.
Working knowledge of avionics, upholstery, cabinet, paint back shop work flows, resources and capabilities.
Basic knowledge of manufacturing concepts, component and next higher assembly build up and production flows.
Familiarity with FAR Part 145 repair station, Part 121/135 airline and/or aircraft Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) policies and procedures.
Knowledge of the internal workings of aircraft systems.
DESIRED
Undergraduate degree or commensurate experience in a related field.
Project Management certification
Prior experience with Corridor aviation maintenance software.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics:
Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff from various departments.
Highly Desired: Prior experience with Corridor aviation maintenance software.
