A Rental Coordinator at CITGO's Lake Charles Manufacturing Complex is responsible for monitoring and oversight of the Rental Equipment Tracking System, promptly generating corresponding Purchase Orders to maintain system status. Verify requisitions for accuracy, collaborate with field clerks and vendors as needed, and ensure timely updates of SAP statuses for rental equipment. This individual functions as the primary contact for all plant rental inquiries and fulfillment.
Additional Job Duties
The Maritime Transportation Security Act requires all persons who will need unescorted access to a regulated facility to have a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC), issued in accordance with the rules established by the United States Coast Guard and the Transportation Security Administration. Candidates selected for employment must meet eligibility criteria to obtain a TWIC card. Additional Job Duties
- Resolve any data conflicts within SAP and vendor rental systems/records
- Work with invoice processing to manage invoice payments within contractual agreements
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic work environment
- Schedule rental maintenance and repairs
- Mediate issues with vendors and customers
- Ability to work well with all levels of supervision and management and to follow established procedures
- Ability to assess risks and apply sound judgment in making decisions and recommendations
- Ability to work occasional on call hours and weekends
- Bachelor's degree in business, construction management, or related field (preferred), plus one year of job-related experience with working knowledge of rental equipment systems, OR
- 5 years of experience with working knowledge of rental equipment systems, in lieu of degree
- Proficiency and working knowledge of SAP and MS Office PowerPoint, preferred
- Experience in a refinery purchasing environment, preferred
- General understanding of contract terms and conditions
- Possess excellent customer service and record-keeping skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; problem solving skills
- Valid driver's license
- CITGO hourly employees must be qualified as a temporary supervisor per the Supervisor Development Process (OSDP, MSDP, or LSDP) and meet the minimum qualifications listed above
