What are the responsibilities and job description for the C11 position at Citi?
The Data Governance Intermediate Analyst is a junior role (2-5 years of experience). This role supports a team of Data Owners for Citi’s trading activities, such as secured financing, trading securities, derivatives, and debt. In this role you will have the opportunity to learn about the operational and financial/regulatory reporting of these products. Activities performed include defining and designing business requirements for new initiatives, Subject Matter Expert support for Data Quality improvement, and supporting the strategic buildout of data acquisition/transformation/distribution. Growth opportunities are available within the team, due to its breadth. The team’s significant interactions with other areas of the Bank will provide further opportunities.

Responsibilities:
- Participates in defining and establishing appropriate data standards
- Understanding the data needs of regulatory and internal reporting
- Acquisition of data, financial reconciliation and Data Quality measurement and fixing issues at source
- Leading meetings with senior stakeholders to work through requirements and data quality issues of the various products covered by the team
- Financial Analysis to help determine root cause of discrepancies within product level data
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience
- Advanced Business Analyst skills and Project Management skills are preferable
- Accounting or Finance background preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, be proactive and motivated individual.
- Excellent Excel skills a must
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving skills
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree required and Advance degree preferred
