Job Overview:
The Global Chargeback Analyst is responsible for monthly operational processes, adhoc reporting and technical enhancements to the mainframe Global chargeback process
The candidate:
Will provide chargeback support to multiple financial recovery and business units around the world.
Must be able to work independently and/or as part of a team, capable of providing problem resolution support to the product card owners, Finance, and internal customers.
Must be able to analyze various billing/usage situations and/or requests, prioritize, and respond appropriately either with reports or changes to procedures.
Will provide analysis and reporting on billing exception tracking metrics in order to provide businesses, Global Inventory Owners (GIOs), and senior management with an assessment of base inventory accuracy.
Will coordinate with GIOs in driving towards a common end state including a single global golden source for inventory within their asset class, automation of inventory processes, and a reduction of manual intervention.
Will coordinate with GIOs and the billing group (ITBM) in order to incorporate chargeback processes not currently integrated into the ITBM framework.
Will interact with Asset Management, Global Inventory Owners, ITBM, Application Development, Operations and Product Management teams, and other individual project management leads coordinating global inventory lifecycle processes and initiatives.
Knowledge/Experience/Skills:
Mainframe experience is an absolute necessity.
SAS programming (2 years)
Mainframe JCL, and MXG software (preferred)
Business analysis (3 years)
Citi process and procedures, including document control (preferred)
IBM Sub-capacity reporting tool (desirable)
Tivoli Asset Discovery for z/OS(desirable
Citi tools such as Citi Marketplace, ServiceNow, Change Management, Automation/Scheduling etc. (Highly desirable)
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Product Suite (e.g. Excel, Powerpoint, Word, etc.)
Ability to work with little supervision
Excellent communication skills required – written and verbal
Must be able to effectively work with clients to resolve billing/chargeback issues and inventory management concerns
Strong organizational ability
