Job Description
One of the best commission structures in the industry! This is a 100% Commission-Only position. Set your own hours. Commission is paid after each solar system installation. Highly rewarding (see Compensation below) but it normally takes 2-3 months of building a pipeline to earn your first commission. Those that start strong earn their first commission after 30-45 days.
This position is for a Solar Consultant. The primary responsibility of the Solar Consultant is closing residential solar deals with homeowners. The applicant will be responsible for self-generating leads. No company leads provided at this time. The applicant must be able to self-generate deals in at least one of the following states and have the applicable licenses to do so - CA, AZ, MA, NH, NJ, PR, RI, UT.

Duties
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and target markets
- Generate leads and build a pipeline of prospective clients
- Educate customers on the benefits of solar energy and the products/services offered
- Assess customer needs and provide customized solar solutions
- Previous experience in solar sales is a must (6 months)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport
- Knowledge of solar energy systems, products, and industry trends
- Salesforce software experience is a plus
- Bilingual/multilingual proficiency is a plus
Compensation
One of the best commission structures in the industry. Average Solar Consultants earn $100,000-$200,000 with top reps earning over $500,000. Top Solar consultant reps with excellent leadership skills who build a team of Jr Reps / Canvassers around them to set up appointments earn over $1 million a year.
