Citizens is looking for a Partnership Manager to join its high-growth Point of Sale business—Citizens Pay!
This business unit is a “FinTech in a bank”, a true innovator and game-changer in the payments and lending industry and is building a world-class organization of team members. Several high-profile Fortune 50 companies are clients (e.g., Apple, Microsoft) and the group is rapidly growing its partner portfolio across industry verticals including electronics, specialty retail, home goods & home improvement, fitness, travel & entertainment, medical and more.
The Partnership Manager lead supports the development of co-branded point of sale platforms designed to help grow a merchant’s customer base by offering flexible Line of Credit payment plans to customers at the time of checkout. The Partnership Manager will act as main point of contact with clients to customize programs and integrations. The end goal enables merchants to offer a seamless financing experience within their existing point of sale platforms – both online and in-store. Post onboarding, the Partnership Manager is tasked with driving program/partner optimization and growth over the long term.
Skills and Competencies
- Ability to understand and deliver on the joint vision of both the client and the bank.
- Comfort interfacing with executives and hosting strategic level conversations.
- Experience leading and project managing cross-functional teams in a complex organization.
- Ability to comprehend and converse in a highly driven technical environment.
- Capacity to communicate the big picture while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity analyzing and presenting on key performance metrics and industry trends.
- Self-motivated, independent thinker with strong organization skills and follow-through.
- Positive mindset with ability to adapt and react to constantly evolving priorities.
Qualifications
- 5 years – Relationship, product or program management.
- Experience in relationship/account management, Consumer Lending, Buy Now Pay Later, and/or a specific target vertical a plus.
- BA required, MBA preferred.
- Ability to travel as the need arises.
