JOB SUMMARY AND OBJECTIVE
The Consumer Sales Manager is responsible for the overall profitability and efficient operation of specific offices in the branch network. This position will assist with development of annual deposit and loan growth goals and develop branch sales plans. This position may also manage an individual loan portfolio. They will also ensure all branches are staffed adequately and trained/focused on sales and excellent customer service. This position will also be responsible for building the Banks presence in the community by encouraging relationship development as well as active community involvement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
This position performs the following duties, including but not limited to:
Establish sales goals for branch staff to enhance the Banks strategic plan; serve as a mentor to branch employees to enhance sales and service skills.
Assist in planning the annual budgets and revenue projections per branch; operate within this budget during the year, communicating goals to branch/office managers.
Directly manage branches in the region when branch managers/office managers are unavailable.
Resolve customer issues where a higher level of authority is required.
Ensure compliance with all Bank policies and procedures as well as banking regulations. Ensure that all branch employee training is completed as assigned.
Work as a catalyst to ensure that branch employees are adopting and following appropriate procedures defined by various operations areas of the Bank.
Work with managers to ensure that accurate performance reviews/coaching opportunities are completed in a consistent and timely manner.
Work with managers regarding loan approvals, watch list loans and loan growth
Works closely with the Branch Operations Coordinator to ensure that operational procedures are followed consistently in the branches.
Serves as liaison between Senior Management and branches regarding development and implementation of strategic plan.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
