The Alexandria Court Service Unit is seeking a qualified individual to provide support to Court Service Unit staff, programs, and services including administrative, budget, and oversight of the coordination of services for the Division.
This position will be responsible for performing all procurement functions for the office; maintaining, coordinating, and processing all small purchase card transactions and performing monthly reconciliation; developing and maintaining budget spreadsheets; and monitoring the Court Service Unit’s allocated budgets and expenditures for both the city and state. This incumbent will serve as the Budget Analyst for Court Service Unit, providing leadership and expertise to the Court Service Unit Director with duties to include forecasting, preparation, and monitoring of the budget for the city and state.

High school graduate or GED. Two years of secretarial experience is preferred. Background Investigations: Selected applicants for this position are subject to a background investigation and pre-employment drug screen. The investigation may include fingerprint checks (State Police, FBI); local agency checks; employment verification; verification of education (relevant to employment); credit checks; and other checks requested by the hiring authority.
Pre-employment medical screenings may be required for some DJJ positions.
A valid driver’s license is required by the date of employment.
In addition to the State salary, a local supplement may be provided by the City of Alexandria to persons selected for this position. Additional information pertaining to the supplement will be provided at the time of the interview.
Salary : $39,800 - $52,115
