WORK OBJECTIVE:
This position performs professional duties related to grant management, including information tracking, funds analyses, invoicing and reporting; and internal/external policy and project administration.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
§ Bachelor’s degree required in social science, business or public administration or a related field of study.
§ Three (3) years’ experience in a position related to grants development, management, and/or administration.
§ Possess a valid Florida Driver’s License
§ Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training may be considered.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

§ Develops and implements a reporting system for grants to include milestone scheduling, project progress narratives and event tracking.
§ Develops reporting systems and collects all financial information regarding the budgets of active grants, budget revisions, or amounts available to be reimbursed in the future or reprogrammed to another project.
§ Serves as the liaison between the City and funders.
§ May serve on boards or panels pertinent to grant sources.
§ Interprets Federal, State, County and City regulations and guidelines on programmatic and administrative matters pertaining to grant programs.
§ Responsible for coordinating with appropriate staff all reporting requirements, responsibilities and timeline for delivery of mandatory reports.
§ Aids staff in the analysis of project performance for grants and in the development of corrective measures as required.
§ Reviews grant programs developed by other departments/offices and agencies prior to being considered by the City Council.
§ Develops recommendations for future grant funding based upon program review and analysis.
§ Performs other related work (including during weather or other extreme emergency duties) as required.

Pay: $22.64 - $35.09 per hour
