Athletics Assistant Job Posting Announcement

Compensation: $15/hr.

Division: BCRP- Recreation Bureau

Hire Up is a paid work experience opportunity.

  • 6 months, with paid job readiness training
  • Includes supportive services and job placement assistance
  • Work with city agencies and nonprofit organizations

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet and register guests; provide general customer service (answer phones, greet guests, provide facility information)
  • Oversees games to ensure good sportsmanship and fair play is observed; enforces safety regulations
  • Investigates protested games; resolves dispute on basis of established regulations
  • Maintains records and compiles statistics
  • May serves a field director for tournaments and special events; may assist with coordinating activities of teams competing in national tournament games; assist with Organizing and overseeing amateur sports events, tournaments and games
  • Performs related work as required
