A Cashier I operates a cash register or cash drawer in the receipt and disbursement of money; issues receipts, licenses or permits and completes related records. Work of this class involves no supervisory duties or responsibilities.
Incumbents receive close supervision from a technical superior. Employees in this class work a conventional workweek; however, evening and weekend hours may be required. Work is performed in an office where there is no exposure to uncomfortable environmental or hazardous working conditions. Work requires minimal physical exertion.

EXAMINATION PROCESS:
