OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Must have a valid Driver's License.
Must have, or have the ability to obtain, a valid State of Ohio Pharmacy License.
Physical Conditions: Duties require maintaining physical condition necessary for standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time; light to moderate lifting and carrying; general manual dexterity required; ability to distinguish colors required.
Examples of Work Performed

Prepares and fills prescriptions as authorized by physicians and other appropriate health care professionals; provides instructions and counsels patients on appropriate use of med¬icines.
Develops and maintains medical records with complete documentation for each patient; maintains a variety of logs and medical books relating to types of drugs, diseases, and drug interactions; prepares treatment reports as necessary.
Answers questions and provides medical and health education information to patients; interprets and evaluates medical terminology and claims; assesses and evaluates patient's needs; provides drug education, counseling, and treatment; refers special needs patients to proper authorities for treatment.
Maintains compliance with all applicable health laws, codes, and regulations.
Provides responsible staff assistance to the Pharmacy Services Manager including participating in the development of health and pharmaceutical manuals.
Maintains inventory of drugs and supplies for assigned pharmacy; contacts distributors and orders supplies as necessary.
Stays abreast of new trends and innovations in the field of pharmacology.
Maintains a professional working relationship with those contacted in the course of daily work.
