Compensation and Benefits:
The Full Salary Range is $50,020 - $89,510. The hiring range is $50,020 - $65,816 Annually depending on qualifications, with an excellent benefits package. Primary Duties/Brief Description of Work:
The Community Partnerships Coordinator is to be an advocate of the creative community and steward of the City's effort to provide resources and operational support to creative individuals and community-based organizations, by providing leadership and oversight for two programs offered by Creative Greensboro, the office of Art & Culture: Creative Activation Partners (CAP) and Greensboro Residency for Original Works (GROW). Both programs are offered within the Greensboro Cultural Center. In addition to being a relationship developer and manager with members of the creative community, the Coordinator will be responsible for administrative functions including reviewing requests for support and space, facilitating partner selection and evaluation processes, budget management, marketing, and staff/volunteer oversight. The Coordinator will identify and steward potential partners that reflect the diversity of our intended impact as envisioned in the Creative Greensboro Cultural Arts Master Plan and with the capacity to deliver high-impact and arts and culture programming. He/she will serve as liaison to the Cultural Center for selected creative individuals or organizations and connect those partners to a range of available program resources provided by the Office of Arts & Culture. The Coordinator will monitor the progress of partnerships, ensuring that performance milestones are met and document progress through story-based content that can be shared internally and externally as evidence of our success and impact.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 4-6 years of experience in delivering arts programming in a community visual or performing arts environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the city of Greensboro's cultural master plan
