What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recreation Manager position at City of Marble Falls, TX?
OBJECTIVES:
Under supervision from the Director of Parks and Recreation, the purpose of this position is to oversee daily operations of the Recreation Division by leading, planning, organizing, maintaining and managing activities, events and services, developing and implementing policies and procedures related to development, implementation, administration, and management of comprehensive recreation programs and services. Other duties include the preparation of the Recreation Division budget, and monitoring related expenditures, managing and evaluating the work of subordinates.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
1. REPORTS TO: Parks and Recreation Director
2. DIRECTS: Recreation Coordinator, Seasonal Aquatics Coordinator, Pool Managers, Lifeguards, and potentially seasonal or part-time employees or contractors involved in special events and recreation programs
3. OTHER: Involvement and contact with state and national organizations, community civic groups, other city departments, and the general public
Salary : $72,592 - $104,504
