The City of McDonough is accepting applications for the position of Water Distribution Supervisor. This position is responsible for supervising the water distribution and sewer collection work crews and equipment operators by planning, organizing, directing and supervising the daily activities. Position works in the field with subordinates to complete daily work assignments. Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Public Works Director.
Minimum qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or two (2) years of technical coursework desired; five (5) years’ experience in water and sewer repairs and maintenance, with at least two (2) years in a lead position; ability to possess water distribution and/or sewer collection licenses within 12 months; valid State of Georgia Class C driver’s license; satisfactory MVR and criminal history; pass employment physical and drug test; equivalent combination of education and experience.
