- Performs public reception and customer service duties. Greets and directs participants, provides information to visitors, participants and callers regarding department functions, or refers to appropriate person or agency. Receives and routes telephone calls, takes and relays messages.
- Schedules appointments, and processes class registration forms and liability waivers. Signs participants up for trips and processes trip payments.
- Formats and type correspondence as needed, assists with bulk mailing projects. Maintains and updates files (both electronic and hard) as needed for programs and classes.
- Scans and photocopies documents, shreds documents containing private information. Performs telephone contact, and operates the phone system
- Performs data entry and carries out financial duties that include program payments, donations, and cab ticket sales.
- Assists with programs as needed.
- Maintains cleanliness of Wellness Center and lobby.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One to two years secretarial/administrative support and customer service experience preferred.
- Training in Microsoft Office software.
- Any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities.
- CPR/First Aid Certification within the timeframe specified by the City.

- This work involves occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds within a limited range for access to storage boxes; work regularly requires sitting, frequently requires standing, speaking or hearing, using hands to finger, handle or feel and repetitive motions and occasionally requires walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling and reaching with hands and arms.
