Resource Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Financial Services Division
HOURS WORKED: 40 hours/week; Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
AFFILIATION: UAW Clerical Technical
SALARY: Grade 8, Wage dependent upon experience
PRIMARY DUTIES
Serves as greeter and first point of contact for the Motor Vehicle Department, managing customer appointments and flow of pedestrian traffic in the City Hall Rotunda; provides customer service via email, phone calls and in person; provides assistance to the Motor Vehicle, Tax and Wastewater departments as needed; performs other related duties as assigned. This position also assists the Legislative Offices with transcribing audio recordings of legislative branch proceedings as well as administrative support to the Legislative Affairs Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess excellent writing, typing (80-90 words per minute) and customer service skills; must be proficient in the use of computers and software required to accomplish the requirements of this position; must be attentive to detail and able to transcribe recordings of meetings into concise and understandable reports; minimum three years relevant work experience; high school diploma or certified equivalent with two to three years of business related coursework; must have a good understanding of the English language.
