What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility Attendant position at City of Palo Alto?
Under appropriate supervision and/or designated direction, the Custodial Assistant performs a combination of duties to help public rentals with basic audio/visual set ups, room set up and light cleaning of bathrooms, classrooms, and offices.
Essential Functions:
- Provide oversight to private rentals and room reservations
- Provide customer service support to rental groups
- Collects and disposes of refuse as needed
- Vacuum as needed
- Clean restroom facilities and replenishes supplies.
- Turns out lights and locks doors and windows.
- May assist with moving and setting up of spaces
- Maintain log of observed building deficiencies
- Help set up lighting, sound systems, projectors as needed
- May make minor repairs and set up rooms for meetings.
- Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.
- Recent history of responsible work experience.
- Two years’ experience in basic Audio-Visual work
- Possession of a valid California Driver's License.
