The City of Peoria has an exciting opportunity for an IT Technician II to join the Information Technology Department. The purpose of this position is to perform difficult and advanced technical work in the installation, maintenance and repair of computer software, stand-alone and networked hardware, cabling and peripheral equipment. This is accomplished by providing second level technical support for users of all IT supported systems, applications and services including end-user equipment and peripherals across all city departments. Support will also include Microsoft Active Directory, imaging software and managing software updates. This position requires participation on a rotation schedule for on-call after-hours support, which includes evenings, holidays and weekends. Other duties may include completing related tasks as assigned
