Your responsibilities would include researching topics, creating confidential documents, handling resident inquiries, and participating as a staff liaison to various committees. What will you do:
- Perform research and documentation of projects and assignments.
- Coordinate logistics and organize events, meetings, and trainings.
- Screen incoming calls, emails and greet visitors.
- Provide real-time scheduling support b booking appointments and preventing conflicts.
- Help draft correspondence, or proclamations.
- Address office tasks such as filing, generating reports and presentations, setting up for meetings, and reordering supplies.
- Making travel arrangements, such as booking flights, cars, and making hotel accommodations.
- Using computers to generate reports, transcribe minutes from meetings, create presentations, and conduct research.

What are the minimum qualifications?
- Must pass the pre-employment background check.
- Must have an Oregon Driver license and meet the City of Salem's driving standards.
- High school diploma or GED, with course work in business/ public administration and office management, and six years general office experience including 2 years experience in an executive office setting, or any combination of experience and training that demonstrate possession of the knowledge, skill and abilities as listed, and ability to perform the examples of work.
- Must be able to work rotating shifts if assigned.
- Bilingual skills preferred.
