What are the responsibilities and job description for the Golf Starter position at City of Schenectady?
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Regulates the starting of players on the golf course; does related work as required.
EXAMPLES OF WORK
- Starts golfers off first tee in proper sequence and with proper spacing;
- Checks receipts to make sure that players have paid green fees before commencing play;
- Sees that proper standard of conduct among players on course in maintained.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS: This is routine work requiring some initiative and responsibility in seeing that players are started out in orderly fashion and on time. The work is performed under the immediate supervision of the golf course manager.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $15.50 per hour
