What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fleet Maintenance Parts Supervisor position at City of St. Louis?
Incumbents in this position supervise and perform automotive supply functions. Duties include ordering parts, materials and supplies; receiving, unpacking, pricing and storing all materials ordered; maintaining stock of a large variety and volume of goods; writing specifications, preparing requisitions and approving invoices for payment; establishing audits and perpetual inventory records and estimating needs and cost of supplies.

Minimum Qualifications
Three years of experience ordering, receiving, stocking, and issuing a variety of automotive, diesel, or construction equipment parts. OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
License: Incumbents must posses and maintain a valid Missouri driver’s license while employed by the City of St. Louis. Applicants must possess a valid driver's license at the time of filing application and be able to present it upon request. A limited number of applicants may be scheduled for the Oral Interview based on an evaluation of their qualifying education, training and experience as listed on the Employment Application. Salary
- Minimum: $31,798.00
- Maximum: $53,040.00
City residency requirement may be waived for this position.
ASE Certified Parts Specialists who have completed both the (P1) Medium/Heavy Truck Dealership Parts Specialist test and (P2) Automobile Parts Specialist test through the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence will be paid at a minimum annual salary of $35,282. Proof of completion of these tests must be submitted with the Employment Application.
