The City of Woonsocket, RI is conducting a search for a Federal Administrator of Programs and Grants. Working under the direction of the Director of Planning & Development, the person in this position will be responsible for the daily administration of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Emergency Solutions Grant and HOME Programs, as well as supervise the administration of other federal and state programs related to community and housing development and rehabilitation. The successful candidate must also be able to source and apply for program funds as they become available. A Bachelor’s degree in public administration, human services, or a related field, as well as knowledge of al laws and regulations pertaining to state and federal grant programs are required. In addition, the successful candidate must have four (4) years of administrative experience, including two (2) years of experience in public housing servicing program management, or community development. Proficiency in MS Office, Word, or Excel is required. Must possess a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
