Work Location:Hybrid On-Site/Remote Position Overview As a Service Year Adviser, you will support incoming AmeriCorps members through each stage of their pre-service experience. You will facilitate both individual outreach and support, as well as pre-service engagement activities for cohorts of incoming AmeriCorps members, to foster a strong commitment to their service and sense of belonging at City Year. The Service Year Adviser, with direction from the Service Year Director and in partnership with their local service site, will ensure AmeriCorps members arrive feeling prepared and with aligned expectations on their first day of service with City Year. Job Description Responsibilities You will support candidates who have received an invitation to serve with City Year in determining if City Year is the right opportunity for them before they accept the offer. You will work to achieve a persistence rate for the percentage of incoming AmeriCorps members who accept an invitation to serve and persist to start of service. Compensation and Benefits Full time employees are entitled to compensation commensurate with experience with the range between $58,200 and $68,250 annually. Geographic location will be taken into account for the final offer. For this position we are seeking candidates located in Boston or New Hampshire.
