The Post-Closing Assistant is responsible for supporting the post-closing department, accurately compiling and completing documents while maintaining immaculate record keeping and record storage.
What you’ll do:
- Organizes and sorts of mail to the appropriate parties within Post-Closing
- Prepare Collateral releases
- Review, research, and cure outstanding shipping issues
- Responsible for imaging and importing executed final loan documents, title policies, recorded deeds (originals & copies), and miscellaneous supporting documentation into the current imaging repository for all Post-Closing file delivery.
- Inputs recorded information from the County within LOS system.
- Inputs and maintains information within the LOS system.
- Prints appropriate documents necessary for delivery to investor.
- Acts a liaison to request files from offsite storage vendor. Coordinates & maintains records of file destruction, delivery of loans with manifest reports with management, enterprise risk, and compliance.
- Work with shipping specialist on timely delivery of collateral file to Custodian.
- Responsible to enter tracking information into our LOS system.
- Aids others within the department as needed.
- Provides exceptional organization, multi-tasking, and time management in a highly sensitive detail-oriented environment.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Possesses strong interpersonal skills

- Must work well in a fast-paced team driven environment
- Encompass experience is a plus
