Civil Construction Contractors, LLC an industrial contractor located in Hahnville, LA is currently seeking Journeyman Ironworkers to join our team servicing South Louisiana.

Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Execute safe work practices necessary to perform job functions in an industrial setting.
• Have knowledge of basic welding, and flame cutting.
• Have knowledge of erection and modification of steel members.
• Ability and working knowledge of various hand and power tools required to perform job duties in a safe manner
• Knowledge of safe loads and rigging requirements
• Safely minded while working in elevated situations
• Ability to signal crane loads

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to physically lift of objects in weight up to 60 pounds
• Climbing of ladders, stairs, and structures.
• Work at above elevations.
• Clear verbal communication
• Perform work in changing weather conditions
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/prints

Experience:

• steel erection: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:
