Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. is looking for a Corporate Fleet & Fixed Asset Accountant to join our accounting team. This position is full time in our Pittsburgh, PA office. Primary duties include planning, directing, coordinating and optimizing the truck fleet program including acquisition, assignment, replacement and disposals.
Primary Duties Include:
- Corporate contact for fleet, fuel and maintenance programs
- Fleet GL accounting including financing and debt reconciliations
- All fixed asset accounting including proper classifications and depreciable lives, depreciation expense, disposals and account reconciliations
- Fuel usage analysis and reporting
- Equipment usage tracking, entries and ROI analysis
- Insurance: maintains list of covered assets and assist in annual renewal process
- Insurance: claims reporting and evaluation including GL accounting
- Financial reporting and analysis for Office Lead Vice Presidents of Operations
- Computer inventory and deployment tracking
- Develop and implement improvements in equipment recovery tracking and reporting including process documentation
- Policy and procedure development and implementation including technologies
- Assist with lease accounting (office, storage facilities, copiers, office equipment)
Additional Duties Include:
- Audit support
- Reporting: safety, property tax
- Acquisition integration
- Month end close process
- Ad hoc reporting
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting
- Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint, plus
- Prior experience in similar role, plus
- 3 years of professional experience preferred
- Strong technical and problem solving skills
- Computer expertise in Microsoft Excel
