Web Designer

SUMMARY

cj Advertising is looking for an experienced web designer to join our digital marketing department. This role is responsible for creating new design concepts for client websites, social media, emails, landing pages, and various other digital assets. Ability to collaborate in a team environment as well as manage their own time/projects is a must.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3-5 years professional web designer experience with cutting-edge portfolio
• Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator
  • After Effects, Premiere Pro, InDesign, XD are a plus
• Proven knowledge and experience designing HTML websites with responsive layouts
  • HTML email coding experience is a plus
• Proven knowledge of design principles and how to incorporate those in digital designs
• Must be a creative problem solver
• Demonstrate excellent time management, organization, and communication skills
• Self-motivated, disciplined and able to work effectively as part of a team or individually
• Experience working with copywriters and front-end developers for producing projects and websites
• Ability to receive and provide design feedback constructively
• Passion for learning; always seeking new design trends and inspiration
• Ability to absorb information quickly and work in a fast-paced agency environment
• Knowledge of marketing and advertising principles

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with copywriters, fellow web designers, developers, and digital marketing coordinators to launch web marketing projects for clients
• Solve digital marketing problems with creative design solutions
• Design client websites, social media assets, landing pages, emails, and other various web materials from concept to completion
  • Mockup complete websites for clients, including responsive layouts
  • Build nurture emails, newsletters, and autoresponders
  • Design responsive lead-gen landing pages within drag-and-drop webpage builder
  • Create organic and paid social media assets
  • Concept and execute social media give away campaign materials
  • Manage blog images for client websites
• Design and execute marketing materials for agency initiatives including emails, social media, webpages, presentations, logos, etc.
• Maintain client branding through brand guides and style guides
• Build and execute company PowerPoint presentations for annual conferences and various agency events
