The Showroom Coordinator position is responsible for answering and directing customer calls to the proper individuals, greeting customers, overall care of the reception area, and data entry of purchase order acknowledgements.
Essential Functions

- Answer phones and greet customers as they come in
- Assign walk-in retail customers and leads to a retail sales person and create a new opportunity in SPS
- Process customer payments
- Create new job folders for the designers within 24 hours of the request
- Disperse purchase order acknowledgements to the appropriate designer
- Update cost on POs from order acknowledgments before product is received
- Manage showroom stone samples, including retrieving them for customers and putting them away at the end of the workday
- Manage office & building supplies, including ordering and restocking as needed
- Ensure the front desk/reception area is kept clean and presentable
- Manage the retail floor calendar
- Coordinate projects in the showroom
- Occasional driving position for tasks associated with role
- Open and distribute mail to the office and make runs to the post office to send packages as needed
Work Environment
This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
This position requires the ability to occasionally lift stone samples, office products, and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
Required Education and Experience
- Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Cash handling
- Previous experience working in a customer-facing role.
