The Department of Social Sciences is accepting applications for an assistant or associate professor in Criminal Justice to fill a 9-month tenure-track faculty position to begin August 2021, in the Department’s bachelor’s and master’s program in Criminal Justice. Responsibilities include teaching, scholarship, undergraduate advising, and university service. Consistent with the University’s mission to further the undergraduate research experience, we are seeking enthusiastic candidates with a demonstrated commitment to teaching and research mentorship.
Ph.D. in Criminal Justice or closely related discipline required. Area of specialization is opened but the successful candidate should also be a generalist and willing to teach courses in criminology, and criminal justice systems. Research interest could be around Social Justice, Race and Gender, Sexuality and Prison Reform.
SALARY: Salary and rank commensurate with qualifications and experience.
