Position Summary... What you'll do... Analyst I, Billing Manages bill review processes by researching and interpreting workers’ compensation state fee schedules, laws and regulations, and applying them to current processes or developing new procedures; ensuring fee schedule changes are applied and communicated to vendor processors to ensure bill review compliance; testing and approving new or updating system applications; ensuring bill review software is functional to communicate software needs or programming issues to the bill review vendor; developing alternate workflows to accommodate system deficiencies; submitting rule requests and testing to ensure rule accuracy; and using reports and logs to identify negative trends and creating action plans to mitigate disputes and penalties and to identify positive trends to maximize benefits. Oversees vendor processors and vendor payments by communicating expectations to vendors and ensuring vendors comply with contractual obligations; verifying vendor invoices; developing and reviewing reports to track vendor performance; providing guidance regarding policies and best practices and supporting vendors with bill decisions and guidelines; and participating in vendor selection and on boarding. Ensures medical EDI reporting compliance by researching data element requirements; validating system fields are correct; communicates with stakeholders; monitors and corrects rejection reasons. Complies with state-mandated E-billing requirements. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.
