Teller - Relationship Banker (FT or PT)

Claremont Savings Bank is seeking an experienced or non-experienced Relationship Banker to work Full or Part-Time in our Springfield, Vermont Branch. This role has the opportunity for a flexible part-time schedule, if needed. Please include your desired days/hours a week in your application.

The Relationship Banker role delivers excellent customer service and maximizes customer solutions by identifying referral opportunities for new products and services based on the customer’s financial goals, while performing efficient and accurate banking transactions. Additionally, this role services customers by processing various transactions while working independently. The Relationship Banker role is also has the ability to open and close all locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Delivers outstanding customer service by executing financial transactions in accordance with Bank policies and procedures
• Applies referral and sales skills to deepen individual customer relationships through added products and services
• Embraces Relationship-Oriented Sales Philosophy
• Maintains an acceptable record in daily drawer balance
• Drives efforts in the branch or Main Office Relationship Teller Line to identify and implement a positive overall customer experience
• Resolves account service issues and responds to customer inquiries promptly and effectively.
• Deepens customer relationships by effectively executing all services and referring bank products while achieving goals through daily sales activities and sales promotions
• Proactively educates clients on utilizing available access channels (i.e. ATM, Online Banking & Bill pay and Mobile Banking)
• Continuously learns new and existing products through sales aids (features, benefits, fees, disclosures, etc.)
• Adheres to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures to ensure the safety and security of customer and bank assets
• Balances coin counter, cash recycler, and ATM as assigned
• Learns how to process Customer Service transactions (e.g. person and account maintenance)
• Assists co-workers in solving routine problems

The hourly rate for an for someone without banking experience will be $16.50 per hour. For banking experience, the rate will vary depending on the amount of experience and the timeframe the experience too place.
