Post Production Producer

Summary:

This is a highly-creative position that serves as the main core of the post production effort for the video production department. Reporting to the Director of Video, the Post Production Producer delivers broadcast standard video products, and requires a clear unique vision for co-developing, and executing innovative video content across the digital platforms that are assigned. This position will utilize specialized creative skill to edit video and deliver finalized video products on deadline and up to Broadcast quality standards.

Works as a team or independently in Tulsa to shoot and edit video content for web delivery.  We will also go on location for live events throughout the US and will be required to both shoot and edit video.  This can be a high stress environment with daily deadlines.  We are looking for someone with a positive attitude that wants to grow with us as we grow our content offerings.

Responsibilities

• Work with Content Editors/Marketing Managers, Event Directors, Sales Reps to edit and produce daily/weekly exhibitor booth videos, editorial videos, promotional videos and any other post-production editing needs.
• Edit using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to create and finalize various Clarion Events video products from paid product showcase videos to short form promos and long form documentary and/or news magazine pieces
• Communicate effectively with both internal and external clients to ensure product scope and content is delivered to meet their needs
• Project manage video projects effectively, meeting necessary deadlines and quality objectives and creating happy customers
• Travel when needed

Essential Qualifications:

• 5+ years of video production experience, all aspects.
• Thorough understanding of the video production process, (Cameras, Lighting, Audio, Editing, Live Switching, Webcasting)
• 5 Years of Adobe Premiere Pro Experience
• 5 Years of Adobe After Effects Experience
• 2 Years Live Switching/Live Streaming/Encoding
• Graphics and Photoshop skills of at least moderate level are required
• Knowledge of the video production processes from beginning to end.

This is essential in trouble shooting when combining video formats from multiple sources.

• Must be able to interact with high level clients and internal staff while under pressure.
• May need to be able to travel 20% or more. With short notice, odd hour production call times possible.
• Strong team player
• MUST have the ability to multitask.  Each group will have a different look so applicant must adapt from corporate to documentary style to polished high-end look from day to day.
• Must be able to understand the business goals and strategies and will be accountable to recommending the best approach to meet the business goal.
• Must have a rich understanding of current marketing strategies in video that drive a high level of brand awareness, reach, and engagement
• Must have the ability to travel onsite to shows

Non-Essential Qualifications:

• HTML or other Digital Media Skills
• Other web coding experience related to digital media

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift 75lbs
• Able to sit and stand for long periods of time
• Able to haul, carry, transport heavy production gear through airports, in studios and out on location as needed

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.     

Travel

Travel is required for this position. 

Work Environment

Generally, this job operates in a professional office environment, but remote work is available. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This job will also require travel and exposure to conference hall environments in which safety and environmental concerns may demand constant attention.

While at events/shows, this job may require extensive standing and walking and some pulling and lifting of products, supplies and/or equipment to complete the set up and break down of shows.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week. Days and hours of work and days are typically Monday through Friday, 8:30a.m. to 5:30p.m., but will vary based on event/show schedules and business needs.
