In this pivotal role, you will take the helm in orchestrating the monthly financial processes for our events and overheads, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail. Additionally, you will assume the role of the North America lead for intercompany transactions and relationships, playing a critical part in our global financial operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

Spearhead the preparation and submission of the weekly North America cash flow forecast to our UK parent company, fostering a closely aligned partnership with our CFO, Controller, and Director of Forecasting for North America.

Oversee and execute all month-end accounting and reporting obligations, including the meticulous preparation of journal entries, comprehensive account reconciliations, and incisive financial analysis tailored to designated business segments.

Assume a pivotal role as the financial liaison bridging Clarion management and joint venture partners for assigned business units, ensuring seamless coordination and alignment of financial strategies.

Undertake the responsibility for global intercompany transactions impacting North America, encompassing the full spectrum from intercompany invoicing to intricate settlement processes in full compliance with prevailing accounting policies. Exhibit a mastery of synchronizing month-end balances, coupled with proactive collaboration with global and local treasury management teams.

Play a key role in supporting statutory audits, annual account filings, and other regulatory compliance obligations pertinent to the assigned business areas.

Leverage your expertise to meticulously review accounting processes, identifying avenues for optimization and championing initiatives to enhance procedural efficiency.

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA preferred
  • 5 years accounting experience required
  • Prior experience in a multinational, multi entity and multi-currency environment desired
  • Very Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Enjoys working independently, with autonomy to prioritize and multitask personal and team projects in a dynamic multinational environment
  • Keen problem-solver with ability to apply analytical skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (Vlookups, sumifs, pivot tables, etc) with working knowledge of other Microsoft Office software products
  • Strong sense of ownership and curiosity to learn new skills
  • Results-driven individual with a team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to demonstrate a strong knowledge of both US GAAP and IFRS
  • Workday ERP experience is preferred but not required
