What are the responsibilities and job description for the Boilermaker position at Clark Industrial?
Responsibilities:
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and job orders to determine materials needed, dimensions, and installation procedures
- Fabricate, assemble, and install boilers, tanks, vats, and other large vessels according to specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and join metal components
- Inspect and test completed boilers and vessels to ensure they meet quality standards
- Perform field service work as required, including repairs and maintenance on existing systems
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Boilermaker or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrician work, including low voltage and high voltage systems
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret blueprints and specifications
- Strong fabrication skills to cut, shape, and join metal components
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong customer service skills to interact with clients during field service work
