Responsibilities
We are seeking an ambitious and energetic HR/Payroll Assistant to support our teams in the field. The Pest Control industry is not exactly what it may seem. Pest Control is more of a maintenance program to ensure that our customers don’t suffer from reoccurring pest activity. Like electricians or HVAC technicians, our ultimate goal is to ensure the safety and well-being of the customers that we serve.
What You'll Do
- Track, audit and upload compliance documents and other applicable documentation
- Sort and route all incoming and outgoing calls; sort and distribute mail
- Scan, upload and maintain all digital personnel files for both active and terminated employees
- Input DMV driving record activity into HRIS; upload to applicable employee digital file
- Complete and submit verification of employment requests
- Manage HRIS and SSO password resets and provide guidance on system access
- Organize and maintain file system, file correspondence and other records
- Data entry for various HRIS updates and special projects
- Oversee and regularly audit mobile phone numbers and phone extension changes and updates
- Monitor and track the employee referral bonus program; process check requests for bonus payouts
- Monitor and track I-9 documents and document expiration
- Maintain department office supplies and notify Leadership of restock orders
- Collaborate with the Print Shop to maintain employee photos, audit, and update in the HRIS
- Administer work anniversary awards program and other employee recognition programs; orders awards for timely distribution
- Assists with the facilitation of new employee orientation
- Assists with new hire processing and Onboarding, as needed
- Run reports from HRIS as needed
- Serve as administrative support to the Human Resources department
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
What You'll Need
- Ability to handle multiple priorities with concurrent deadlines.
- You must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as policy and procedure manuals.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively (written/verbal) via email, by phone, in-person and before groups of customers or employees.
- Some knowledge of human resources operations, such as California laws and regulations, and other aspects of compliance.
- Must have a pleasant personality, good interpersonal skills and the ability to work cohesively with fellow employees.
- Demonstrated knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and applicant tracking software.
- Flexibility to work a Hybrid-Remote schedule and attend office events.
- You must live within a reasonable commute driving distance of our corporate office located at 555 N Guild Avenue, Lodi Ca 95240.
