What are the responsibilities and job description for the Robotic Technician position at clark?
As a Robotic Technician, you will support efficient operation of a material handling distribution system. In this position you will work with a team of Warehouse Management Technicians and Controllers to diagnose and troubleshoot the stakeholder’s distribution process and perform all preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, emergency service repairs and physical condition assessments to the Robots, Grid, Roller and Conveyor. Responsibilities Provide scheduled preventive maintenance services, corrective maintenance, cleaning and inspections to: Grid Area: Grid, Guardrail, Robot Fence, Fence Column, cover plate, Service Wall, Emergency Stop Check, and Grid Door Check Controller Robot Charger InterRoller Drive Conveyer system: Timing Belts, O-bands, Poly-v Belts, Carrier Rollers, Drive Roller, Wheels/Idlers/Cam Roller (Items with Bearings), and Photo Eyes and Sensors Assist with start-up services on the Warehouse System product as required, working closely with the assigned Installation Specialists Report product quality issues to assigned management Request spare parts orders to maintain inventory stocking levels Assist with with parts orders, consumables, repair and return of defective parts, and requests for information pertaining to the systems Advise management of any problems or opportunities that arise within their area of responsibility Ensure that required paperwork is completed for all preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, emergency service repairs and physical condition assessment of the system General housekeeping tasks in the Warehouse area Assist with other maintenance activities as needed Basic Qualifications Ensure a safe working environment for all employees Manpower planning and equipment scheduling to maximize efficiency Execute company processes successfully to ensure 100% compliance Ensure annual performance goals are met or exceeded Foster a work environment that maximizes employee involvement, morale and engagement Ensure quality standards are achieved for all goods shipped and received from and to the Warehouse Management System. Promptly solve problems to the maximum satisfaction of our management and stakeholders always Maintain a clean and professional appearance when working with Stakeholders Adhere to and strictly enforce all company safety policies and procedures Attend required training programs to keep current on system update Other projects or duties as assigned Self-motivated and disciplined team player Strong interpersonal and communication skills Sound organizational skills Ability to creatively solve problems in a fast-paced environment Mechanically inclined to understand how the warehouse system operations and able to use tools, machinery and parts to perform preventive maintenance and corrected maintenance. Associate degree from a Technical or Vocational School is a plus 1-3 years field service experience with mechanical products.
