Classic Image, our Brooklyn-based interior design company, is seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in generating new clients and expanding our client base.
Since this will be the first role of this type at Classic Image, we are looking for an experienced, self-starter who can determine the needs of the position without major guidance.
Role Description
- Utilize various resources such as online databases, networking events, and industry publications to identify leads
- Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, and networking
- Build and nurture relationships with prospective clients through ongoing communication and follow-up
- Conduct presentations to showcase our services and capabilities
- Collaborate with the design team to create customized proposals and solutions that meet the unique requirements of each client
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities
- Work closely with the marketing and design teams to align business development efforts with overall company goals and strategies
Qualifications
- 3 years experience in business development, sales, or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients
- Ability to overcome objections and close deals
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
Knowledge of design-build principles are a plus, and established contacts in design/healthcare industry is a major plus.
