What are the responsibilities and job description for the Jailer position at CLAY COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE?
The responsibilities of this position contain but are not limited to the following: Guards and cares for inmates of the County Jail and assumes responsibilities for inmate(s) needs while in the County Jail.
Duties may include but are not limited to: transports to and from correctional facilities, hospitals, court, booking in/out inmates, etc.
NOTE: The successful applicant must be able to perform all above functions, unassisted, and at a pace and level of performance consistent with the actual job performance requirements. This requires a high level of physical ability to include vision, hearing, speaking, flexibility, strength, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.30 - $22.94 per hour
